Felicitas and Gonzalo Mendez Learning Center is an urban infill project located in East Los Angeles. The project is a 110,178 sf high school that has 38 classrooms to facilitate seating 1,028 students. The high school includes a gymnasium, a theater with stage and classrooms for drama, dance, and media production, a library and study hall, multi-purpose center, indoor and outdoor dining, full-service cafeteria, and faculty/administration offices. The parking is subterranean. The school is located directly across from the Metro Gold Line Station, and it's designed to reflect the eclectic urban neighborhood of East Los Angeles.
